Fun Wedding Ideas Part I

Paul and I both want to make sure that our wedding is incredibly personal - but also a fuck load of fun! We've been brainstorming a lot about ideas of things we could do.

The first thing I have to do is have loads of sunglasses for the dance party! I've put my friend Mike on the job - he actually has a subscription service so he gets a load of new sunglasses in the post each month! Legend.

Definitely want to recreate the *many* photos of me drunk posing in some sunglasses with Mike!

I'm also thinking that we'll have to have some fancy dress (costumes) for everyone! Some serious neon/80s gear! Maybe have a box in the corner full of fun things people can throw on like head bands. I did some fab neon/80s fancy dress for my leaving do from London and for my 27th birthday, and both times Paul was an absolute legend and dressed up! Definitely want to recreate it for our wedding!

Another idea we have been playing with is that of an outside movie theater. Just as a chill out zone for some people who need a break from the party or want to have more of a chat outside. I'd love to have our favorite movies playing - Forrest Gump for me and The Matrix for Paul. I've been looking at some screens on Amazon that we can purchase and see up outside. Have some blankets and pillows floating around for everyone to chill on.

We all know how much Paul loves his whiskey and bourbon! Something an Irish girl can appreciate in a guy. And makes my dad love him too! So we've started collecting bottles of his favorite bourbons to host a "Paul Bourbon Tent" at the wedding - like this one on One Fab Day.
